REGALIA FOR THE CRAFT
 

Freemasonry is often referred to as ‘The Craft’. In Anglo-Saxon, the term craft is related to skill, power, cunning, and intellect, things that a Freemason are required to have.


Regalia Required in Joining

If you are still in the process of being considered for the brotherhood, no regalia is required just yet. All you will need is a dark suit, a pair of white gloves, and a black tie. You will only need your own regalia once you have passed the three degrees.

ROSE CROIX (AASR)
 

The Rose Croix is the 18th Degree in Freemasonry. It was formed as the Ancient and Accepted Scottish order of Freemasonry in 1801.

The Council of the Royal and Select Masters is also known as Cryptic Masonry. The word ‘crypt’ is a Greek word that means ‘vault’, and it is said that the roles of Royal Masters and Select Masters revolve around the vault under the Temple of Solomon.

Membership to the Knights Templar Priests is invitational, and is not something that you can apply for. To be considered for membership, you should have shown outstanding performance as a Commander of a Commandery of the Knights Templar.

If you have an existing Knights Templar Mantle and Tunic, these are sometimes used as an alternative. However, if you want to stick to the required for KTP, then the regalia listed above would be a better choice.

 

Your hat size will be required upon ordering. If you are also buying a mantle and/or tunic, your height and chest size will also be needed.
